Heinrich Akkermann

Heinrich AkkermannHeinrich Akkermann was born in 1933 in Weener. When the first trains from Kamp Westerbork drove eastwards via Weener, he was a little boy. Nevertheless, Heinrich Akkermann suspected that these trains, that he saw together with his brother, concerning to be transports of Jews. The trains always stopped at the station in Weener, where the people were provided with a little water.
