Restoration work: target reached for 2013

The annual target in the context of the restoration work at the Dutch National Monument “The 102,000 stones” is reached. On 12 November 2013 the final annual inspection at the former parade ground of Camp Westerbork was carried out. Meanwhile, through the engagement of German and Dutch workers more than 56,000 stones shine in new splendor. The inspection was conducted by Henk Jansen (municipality Oldampt), Helmut Fens (Working Group School Rhauderfehn) and Albert Gilbert (Herinnerungscentrum Kamp Westerbork). Next to an adress there was a cozy round table meeting at coffee and cake after the inspection.
